Telegram Shilling in 2025 | No BS, Just What Works!

If you’re new to Telegram shilling, you’ve come to the right place. I’ve been in digital marketing for over 15 years, and for the past few years, I’ve spent a lot of time promoting meme crypto tokens on Telegram.

Today, I’m going to break down two types of Telegram shill bots in the market—their pros and cons—so you know exactly what works.

Note: Telegram shill bots aren’t just for promoting crypto tokens. You can use them to advertise anything—sports betting, OnlyFans, job hiring groups—you name it. There are tons of groups that allow ads, and a shill bot can help you automate your messages in those groups.

1. Shill Bots Using Telegram API (Recommended)

Telegram is an open-source messaging platform, meaning anyone can build a bot using its API. If you’re not familiar with APIs, think of them as a way to create a custom bot that interacts with Telegram the same way a normal user would. You register an app with Telegram, get an API key, and use it to send messages just like the Telegram app does.

Many developers offer Telegram API-based shill bots for free on GitHub, but these require programming knowledge to set up and maintain. Plus, Telegram constantly updates its anti-spam algorithms, so most free bots quickly become outdated.

One of the most well-maintained Telegram shill bots on the market is QQSHILL by Jason. Jason has been building Telegram bots since 2021, and you can check out his official Telegram channel @QQSHILL to see user reviews, updates, and promotions over the years.

One thing I love about Jason’s bot is the community behind it. Since hundreds of users rely on QQSHILL, they actively share tips and updates on how to avoid bans, making it one of the safest options out there.

I bought a $500 lifetime license bot from him, but I think the cheapest shill bot available is $150.

If you don’t want to spend $150, you can hire a freelancer on Upwork to write a simple Python shilling bot for about $80–$120. Just be careful—if you have zero coding knowledge, always check the code to make sure there’s no malware stealing your wallet info. Running the bot on a VPS is a safer option.

If you’re hiring someone to build a Telegram user bot, the keywords to look for depend on the programming language they use:

  • Python: Telethon, Pyrogram
  • JavaScript: GramJS
  • PHP: MadelineProto

All of these libraries allow developers to create user bots using Telegram’s APIs.

These options should work fine for normal posting in groups. However, if you want to do large-scale shilling, you’ll need the latest tips and updates to bypass Telegram’s restrictions and avoid bans.

Want a free option? You can try using AI to generate the bot’s code, but I haven’t tested this personally. It’ll take more time, but if you’re on a budget, it’s worth a shot.

2. Browser-Based Shill Bots (Not Recommended)

Instead of using the Telegram API, some bots automate shilling by controlling your web browser (e.g., Google Chrome). They log into your Telegram account, search for groups, paste messages, and click the send button—basically mimicking human actions.

At first glance, this sounds like an easy solution, but it’s actually super inefficient and unreliable. Here’s why:

  • If you want to shill with two Telegram accounts, you need to open two Chrome windows and let the bot control them.
  • What if you need 10 accounts? You’ll need insane CPU and RAM to keep everything running smoothly.
  • Worst of all, if the bot misclicks or lags, it might skip groups or break altogether.

Back in 2020, browser-based shill bots were everywhere because they were easier to build. But in 2025, they’re practically extinct—nobody uses them anymore because they’re just not reliable or efficient.

How to Identify API vs. Browser-Based Shill Bots

Easy. Just watch the demo video. If the demo video shows a clean interface where you type and send messages directly, it’s likely using Telegram’s official API. But if the demo shows the bot clicking around Telegram’s UI like a regular user, it’s browser-based and relies on simulation. These tend to be slower and less reliable.

Final Thoughts

If you’re serious about shilling on Telegram, go with an API-based bot. Browser-based bots are outdated and more trouble than they’re worth.
